Arm Your Sales Team with Visitor Intelligence

The ClearView Chrome Extension puts visitor data directly in your browser. See if prospects visited your site while browsing LinkedIn, prioritize your call list by lead score, and personalize every touchpoint with real behavioral data.

Step 1

Install the Chrome Extension

Every rep on your team installs the ClearView Chrome Extension and connects it with a read-only API key from Settings > API Keys. Takes 60 seconds. The extension works silently in the background, checking every website you visit against your ClearView data.

Create a shared API key labeled 'Sales Team Extension' so you can rotate it without disrupting individual reps. Read-only permissions are sufficient – the extension never writes data.
Step 2

Research Before Outreach

Before reaching out to any prospect, open their company website or LinkedIn page. The ClearView extension automatically checks if anyone from that company has visited your site. If they have, you will see their lead score, visit count, and identified contacts in the extension popup.

This flips the outbound model. Instead of cold-calling into the void, you are prioritizing companies that have already shown interest. A cold email to a company that visited your pricing page yesterday is not really cold anymore.
Step 3

Prioritize Your Call List by Lead Score

Open the extension popup and search domains from your target list one by one. Sort your call list by lead score – companies scoring 70+ should be called first. The extension shows you exactly who visited, what pages they viewed, and when, so you can lead with relevant context.

Build a morning routine: spend 10 minutes checking your top 20 target accounts in the extension. Any company showing new activity gets moved to the top of today's call list. This is signal-driven selling, not spray and pray.
Step 4

Personalize Your LinkedIn Outreach

When browsing LinkedIn, the extension shows a floating badge on company pages where visitor activity has been detected. Use this data to craft connection requests and messages that reference what the prospect cares about – based on the pages they visited, not a generic template.

If someone from Acme Corp visited your pricing and integration pages, your LinkedIn message might reference how you help companies like theirs integrate with their existing stack. You are solving the problem they are already researching.
Step 5

Multi-Thread Across the Buying Committee

The extension shows all identified contacts from a company, not just one. If ClearView identified three people from the same company visiting your site, reach out to all three with tailored messages based on their roles. The VP of Marketing gets a different pitch than the Head of Sales Ops.

Multi-threaded deals close at 2x the rate of single-threaded ones. The Chrome Extension makes it easy to see the full buying committee at a glance without switching to the ClearView dashboard.
Step 6

Follow Up on Returning Visitors

Check the extension daily on your key accounts. When a company that went quiet suddenly shows new activity (a returning visitor), that is your signal to re-engage. Timing your follow-up to coincide with renewed interest dramatically increases response rates.

Set a recurring 15-minute block each morning to check your top accounts. The extension makes this fast – no dashboards to load, no reports to run. Just browse and check.

Pro Tips

Use the extension's domain search to check a prospect's company before every sales call. Knowing they visited your pricing page changes how you run the demo.

If the extension shows a high lead score but no identified contacts, use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to find the right person and reference their company's interest in your outreach.

Pair the Chrome Extension with ClearView's Target Account Alerts. Watch List handles the inbound signal, the extension handles the outbound context.

Track how many meetings come from extension-informed outreach vs. cold outreach. Most teams see a 2-3x difference in book rates.
