Freshsales
LiveOverview
The Freshsales integration syncs identified companies from ClearView into your Freshsales CRM as Accounts. When ClearView detects a new company visiting your website or a lead reaches hot status, the company data is automatically pushed to Freshsales with enrichment details. Your sales team gets immediate visibility into website visitor intent right inside their Freshsales workspace.
What Gets Synced
- Companies synced as Freshsales Accounts
- Company name, domain, and website
- Industry and number of employees
- Lead score as a custom field
- City, state, and country
- First and last seen timestamps
Supported Events
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| company.identified | Fires when ClearView identifies a new company visiting your site. Creates or updates an Account in Freshsales with enrichment data. |
| lead.hot | Fires when a lead reaches the hot threshold. Updates the Account in Freshsales with hot lead status and adds a note with intent details. |

Troubleshooting
Test connection fails with "401 Unauthorized"
Your API key may be invalid. Go to Freshsales > Settings > API Settings and verify or regenerate your key. Also ensure you entered the correct domain (e.g., yourcompany.freshsales.io, not just yourcompany).
"Invalid domain" error
Make sure you entered your full Freshsales domain including .freshsales.io. For example: acme.freshsales.io. Do not include https:// or a trailing slash.
Accounts not appearing in Freshsales
Verify the integration shows a green "Connected" badge in ClearView. Check that your Freshsales plan includes API access and that you have not exceeded your API rate limits.
Duplicate accounts appearing
ClearView deduplicates by domain. If existing Freshsales accounts do not have a website set, duplicates may be created. Ensure existing accounts have their Website field populated.
