The Salesforce integration is currently in development. Once launched, it will use OAuth for a secure connection to your Salesforce org. Check back soon or contact support to be notified when it becomes available.
Overview
The Salesforce integration will push identified companies from ClearView into Salesforce as Accounts and create corresponding Leads. When ClearView detects a new company visiting your website or identifies a hot lead, the relevant records will be automatically created or updated in Salesforce. Your sales team gets instant visibility into website visitor intent without leaving their CRM.
What Gets Synced
Once connected, the following data will be pushed from ClearView to Salesforce:
- Companies pushed as Salesforce Accounts
- Hot leads created as Salesforce Leads
- Company domain, industry, and size
- Lead score and intent signals
- Visitor activity timeline (as Tasks or Notes)
- First and last seen timestamps
Supported Events
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| company.identified | Fires when ClearView identifies a new company visiting your site. Creates or updates an Account in Salesforce and associates a Lead record. |
| lead.hot | Fires when a lead reaches the hot threshold. Creates a Lead in Salesforce with high-priority status and attaches intent data. |
Authentication
The Salesforce integration will use OAuth 2.0 for authentication. When the integration launches, you will connect by authorizing ClearView through Salesforce's standard OAuth flow:
- 1Navigate to Settings > Integrations in your ClearView dashboard.
- 2Find Salesforce and click Connect.
- 3You will be redirected to Salesforce to log in and authorize ClearView.
- 4Select the Salesforce org you want to connect.
- 5Grant the requested permissions (Accounts, Leads, Tasks).
- 6You will be redirected back to ClearView. The integration will be active immediately.
Data Mapping
The following fields will be mapped between ClearView and Salesforce:
