Overview

The GoHighLevel integration pushes identified companies from ClearView into your GoHighLevel account as Contacts, ready for your agency workflows. When ClearView detects a new company visiting your website or a lead reaches hot status, the company data is automatically sent to GoHighLevel. This enables your team to trigger automations, nurture sequences, and follow-up workflows based on real-time website visitor intent.

What Gets Synced

  • Companies pushed as GoHighLevel Contacts
  • Company name and domain
  • Industry and employee count
  • Lead score as a custom field
  • City, state, and country
  • Tags based on lead status (e.g., "hot-lead", "clearview-identified")

Supported Events

Troubleshooting

Test connection fails with "401 Unauthorized"

Your API key may be invalid or expired. Go to GoHighLevel > Settings > Company > API Keys and verify the key is active. If needed, generate a new key and update it in ClearView.

Contacts not being created

Ensure the integration shows a green "Connected" badge in ClearView. Also verify that your GoHighLevel plan includes API access (Agency Pro or higher).

Tags not appearing on contacts

ClearView adds tags like "clearview-identified" and "hot-lead" automatically. If tags do not appear, verify that your GoHighLevel account allows custom tags and that the API key has sufficient permissions.

Duplicate contacts appearing

ClearView deduplicates by company domain. If existing GoHighLevel contacts do not have a website set, duplicates may be created. Ensure existing contacts have their Website field populated.

Workflows not triggering

Make sure your GoHighLevel workflows are configured to trigger on contact creation or tag addition. ClearView creates contacts and applies tags, but workflow triggers must be set up within GoHighLevel.
