Pipedrive

Overview

The Pipedrive integration automatically creates Organizations and Deals in your Pipedrive CRM when ClearView identifies companies visiting your website. When a new company is detected or a lead reaches hot status, ClearView pushes the data into Pipedrive so your sales team can follow up immediately. Enrichment data like industry, company size, and lead scores are included to help prioritize outreach.

What Gets Synced

  • Companies created as Pipedrive Organizations
  • Hot leads created as Pipedrive Deals
  • Company name, domain, and address
  • Industry and employee count
  • Lead score as a custom field
  • Activity notes with visitor session data

Troubleshooting

Test connection fails with "401 Unauthorized"

Your API token may be invalid or expired. Go back to Pipedrive > Settings > Personal Preferences > API and generate a new token. Update the token in ClearView and try again.

Organizations are not being created

Ensure the integration is active (green "Connected" badge in Settings > Integrations). Also verify that your Pipedrive account has not hit its API rate limit. ClearView retries failed requests, but persistent failures may indicate a plan limitation.

Duplicate organizations appearing in Pipedrive

ClearView deduplicates by domain. If you already have organizations in Pipedrive without a domain set, ClearView may create new ones. Ensure existing organizations have their web address field populated.

Custom fields not appearing

ClearView creates custom fields (Industry, Employees, ClearView Score, etc.) automatically on first sync. If they do not appear, check that your Pipedrive user has permission to create custom fields.

Connection was working but stopped

Pipedrive API tokens can be regenerated, which invalidates the old token. If someone regenerated the token, update it in ClearView. Also check that your Pipedrive subscription is still active.
